In 1870, Kappa Alpha Theta was established as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. These brave Theta sisters set a tone for the rest of us to follow - a tone of courage, perseverance, and dedication. Thetas embody the values of leadership, service, scholarship, personal excellence and friendship/sisterhood. The Gamma Phi chapter at Texas Tech took a page from our founders’ book and strives to be leaders not only in the classroom, but the campus and community as well. We are so proud of our different events and accomplishments, please take a moment to explore our site and see what we’re up to! And above all, Think Theta!
